.... in one place. Fahrenheit 451 had many examples of good writing techniques that made it a good novel. One technique that Bradbury did a good job of using was description. He described things specifically using outstanding similes and personifications. One example is how he mentioned the fire hose. He called it "the great python spitting its venomous kerosene upon the world." (Bradbury 3) This made the reader not only visualize the hose but get a feel for the mood about the firemen at that time. Another example of good description is how he described the physical appearance of the firemen. "Their charcoal hair and their soot-colored bro .....

.... just hyperbole. What isn't hyperbole, however, is his caution before the Miller's Tale. He acknowledges that his audience might not want to hear what he has to say because he asks them if they want to listen to his tale. Besides being a poet who both recites his work and writes it down, the narrator is also a pilgrim. He says it clearly: "in that seson on a day, In Southwerk at the Tabard as I lay Redy to wenden on my pilgrymage" (1). But the fact that he is a pilgrim gives no clue to what he does in real life; beggars and kings alike could be pilgrims. So we know the narrator not by his vocation, but by his avocations: writer and pilgrim. .....

However, there were several discrepancies in the testimony that she provided under questioning and cross examination. The defendants lawyer, Atticus Finch, tried to capitalize on the contradictory statements made by Ms. Ewell. He questioned the witness using a variety of techniques and seemed to receive less than uniform answers to the same questions that were asked in a different manner. A few of his accounts make it more obvious than others to discover how he classifies each family member. From the very first page of the novel, Holden begins to refer to his parents as distant and generalizes both his father and mother frequently throughout his chronicle. One example is: "…my parents would have about two hemorrhages apiece if I told anything personal about them. They're quite touchy about anything like that, especially my father. They're nice and all – I'm not saying that – but they're also touchy as hell" .....

Twain tries here to tell the reader how strong the "mob" really is, and only when totally alone is Huck able to make the morally correct decision. .....

Othello takes every word Iago says like it is truth, and whenever he does question Iago, Iago's quick wits keep him uncovered by weaving all his lies together. Iago was capable of bringing Othello into killing his own wife without ever have Othello question his wife or anyone else. In Othello's mind, Iago was so trust worthy that anyone elses word would not be truth, and all of Othello's faith was placed in Iago. Iago calls himself trust worthy in Act II Scene I Line 196, Iago is quoted saying "As honest as I am", which everyone knows is far from true, but Iago is still capable .....

Piggy gives the conch a little toot and summons the rest of the boys on the island to the beach. The boys assemble and elect Ralph as the leader. Ralph then assigns the Choir, led by Jack, to be the hunters. Then Jack, Ralph, and Simon set out to explore the island. Near the end of their journey, they encounter a wild pig. Jack tries to kill it, but is unsuccessful. When the explorers get back, a meeting is held. The explorers explain that the island is deserted but there is enough food to keep them .....
