.... that Mina is feeling is written by herself, and what, how she is feeling is ready for a reader to examine because they are able to see her diary. If Mina's diary was not open to the reader, or if Someone was telling of what he or she saw, the observation could be false and the reader would lose valuable information that would be valuable to the whole plot of the book. Some things that can be noticed about the diary form is that different views of the same thing can be expressed by many different people; all in first person view. Then, along with that, there are extensive and very detailed descriptions about a thing, or person that .....

.... avarice."(p. 259) The Pardoner makes a mockery of the entire church by fabricating stories about his phony relics. Chaucer shows how the Church is so corrupt, that even a Pardoner who admits to his evil ways, can still cheat the people out of their money. The Pardoner begins his story by condemning the common sins of society such as drinking and gluttony. The irony of his criticism lies in the fact that he has been drinking himself, and that he is an admitted glutton. There are also many ironic elements of the stor itself. The rioters in his story, vow to set out and slay Death. In doing so, they promise to fight and die for each .....

Remember how they used to follow him around in high school?” (pg. 16) It is easy to see that Willy thought the world was against him and that his life would never amount to anything. When he says “I’m always in a race with the junkyard,” (pg. 73) it is simple to sense that Willy is not satisfied with his life. Willy’s actions also help the readers take a look into the world he lives in. With all his hopes and dreams for Biff, Willy never paid much attention to Happy. Any praise and acts of approval were always focused on Biff. T .....

His family was restless and nomadic, and inclined to be rootless and adventurous. They lived off the land. The family led a simple life, and believed that by worshipping the land it would provide for them. To be happy and prosperous one did not need the comfort of towns or advantages of education, one only needed the vast open plains of the llano. Gabriel's wife encouraged him to give up the wild lifestyle and move into town where they could build a family together. He did this but it crushed his adventurous sp .....

Then there was the Cratchit's who seemed to be more grateful towards Scrooge, a man who gave them barely enough money to buy food and shelter, then they really should have been. At first when Scrooge sees Bob stand to toast him he's almost filled with pride or at least an enlarged ego, but when Mrs. Cratchit .....
