Personal Writing: What I Learned This Semester In English Class
Words: 713 - Pages: 3.... grade.
This isn't a completely bad thing, though. It teaches me that my writing really
wasn't very good. What I used to think deserved an "A" I now realize only does
deserve a "C." Now I have to take my writing more seriously, and try much
harder at producing good output. Also, my goal isn't to write a paper that will
get a good grade. Now, my goal is to write better papers. I write to become a
better writer.
That is, I feel, a very important thing that I learned this semester. I don't
think, "O.K., I have to get at least a B on this paper." Instead, I think,
"O.K., I have to use this assignment to improve my work." This is a mu .....

Chris would still be studying while I was on the way out of the cafeteria.
One day in particular, the bell that marks the end of the lunch period had

ahead of me, Chris frantically flipping through his Algebraic Concepts text
book. I approached Chris and asked: "Did we have any homework we were
supposed to do?"
"All we had to do was study for the test today," Chris replied.
As usual, I had forgotten another quiz; either that I had chosen to neglect
it. Whichever it was, I never study for tests and quizzes. "Yeah, I've
been studying .....

She tried to form an image, . She almost had it. She slowly opened her
eyes and visualized... Max. Standing at the door and was looking at her

Words: 530 - Pages: 2.... "wondering" if I wanted a couple of free view box tickets and a
parking pass, for that nights Ranger game. I couldn't have been more excited,
much less believe my luck.
After I got off work , and picked up the tickets, I raced home to get
my wife and son ready to go. Over the next half hour, I almost regretted
having to bring my son, what with the hassle of getting the diaper bag packed ,
the traffic, and fighting the crowds while pushing a stroller. It was hectic,
but I survived.
Finally we were situated and ready for the game. The singing of the
national anthem was finished and we were waiting for the first pitch. All of .....

My Dad's Influence On Me
Words: 479 - Pages: 2.... driving skills were not very sharp. As usual, when listening to this I thought that he was trying to take away some of my freedom. I didn’t understand that he was trying to protect me from the many dangers of driving in bad weather.
