Although superficially Sir Gawain and the Green Knight appears to be a romantic celebration of chivalry, it contains wide-ranging serious criticism of the system. The first knights were monastic ones, vowing chastity, poverty and service to God, and undertaking crusades for the good of their faith. When that the poor hath cried, Caesar hath wept. Ambition should be made of sterner stuff, yet brutus says he was ambitious. And brutus is an honourable man” This meant Caesar was there for the people, that he cared. Yet brutus said he was ambitious and deserved .....

Pip does undergo a change of heart towards the end, and he becomes more likable. For the majority of the novel, Miss. Havisham remains constant. Her hatred towards men is easily visible. She manipulates people to her advantage without a thought to their heart and feelings. Her treatment of those around her stays very much the same until before her death, when she shows extreme remorse and pain for her actions. It is at that moment in the novel when the reader begins to feel some sort of .....

Charlie finds out the name and location of the beneficiary, but does not know anything else. So Charlie goes to Wallbrook institution to find out who this guy is.
