In the book each character had their own characteristics and personality. There was something special about each character in the book. Each of them had their strong points and weak points for example Grant was always running away from his problems. There were a lot of things in his life that he could not handle and he just wanted to run away. He didn’t know what to do about Jefferson at first and wondered why he had to teach him. He didn’t really know how .....

The decision to pick this array of patients again strengthens the fact that Dr. Zuger is trying to tell us that it is possible to get AIDS in many ways and that just because one is having casual sex does not mean that he is immune from its effects. The physical setting of the novel plays a major role in the journey through in both a physical or literal sense as well as in the metaphorical journey through one’s own heart. Each and every aspect of the setting can be paralleled to darkness and unknown aspects of one’s own self. This aspect provides for the metaphorical ways of interpreting the novel. The novel opens on the deck of a large sailing vessel called the Nellie. As the reader is introduced to each character onboard the ship the sun is continuing its decent and shortly all will be .....

The reason he was banished was for the study of magic over government. His brother, Antonio, had him thrown off with a little help from King Alonso.
