We need to make Chico a place where people want to raise their children, where they want to build their lives. People have told me, and I agree. Chico is a fun place to live. That is the side we need to put forward. We have a large community that feels like a small town, but that will not stay, much as we may like it. It is also not conducive to growth or industry.
