In this case the holy runner is friend Mark Antony who is with him until the end. Two other men in the crowd, Marcus Brutus and Cassius, are nobles and conspire against Caesar. In 1857 he apprenticed himself to a riverboat pilot. He became a licensed pilot and spent two and a half years at his new trade.
