Seinfeld
Words: 550 - Pages: 2.... is a total neurotic, while
Jerry has a take it easy personality. Same for I Love Lucy, Lucy is always the
leader and Ethel is always the follower. Without coherence Seinfeld would never
be where it is today.
Seinfeld is very original in the ideas they use for there shows. This is
where the show starts to resemble The Honeymooners and there unique ideas. The
Honeymooners' ideas were very unique for their time. Like the episode when
Ralph had a fight with Alice. It was a ground breaking idea for the time,
having a couple arguing and yelling at each other. Seinfeld, whose ideas are
unique for its time, had its most famous episode de .....

Iago's Motivation
Words: 1248 - Pages: 5.... has a deep, inbred desire
to cause and view intolerable suffering. The power of Iago is exercised when he
prepares and then implements an evil plan designed to inflict man with the most
extreme amounts of anguish possible. Iago controls the play, he brilliantly
determines how each character shall act and react. He is a pressing advocate of
evil, a pernicious escort, steering good people toward their own vulgar
destruction.
Iago must first make careful preparations in order to make certain his fire
of human destruction will burn with fury and rage. He douses his victims with a
false sense of honesty and goodness. And, as do most .....

Shakespeare: Tragedy Class 101
Words: 556 - Pages: 3.... by the evil
surrounding him, falls into evil himself (Boyce 653). His tragic flaw,
being indecisive and too thoughtful, takes on a serious tone, compelling
the audience to react accordingly. Hamlet is just one of the many central
characters in Shakespeare's plays who have fallen "victim of his own
strength" (652).
Magnitude is another element in tragedy, found mainly in
characterization. During the Elizabethan and Greek era, tragedies revolved
around people of great importance as opposed to other ages where the
protagonists were ordinary men of inconsequential titles ("Tragedy" 306).
Hamlet, being a typical tragedy, evolves itself i .....

Hedda Gabler: “Evaluate The Achievements Of Act I As Exposition”
Words: 1305 - Pages: 5.... Act I is relatively successful. Hedda’s pregnancy is hinted at : directly through Jorgen mentioning Hedda’s “blossoming” twice, and subtly through Hedda’s clothes which are indicated in the stage directions to be “loosely-fitting”, which does not suit her “elegant figure”. The ridiculous reasoning of Jorgen and Hedda’s noticeably strong reaction to any mention of the matter further draws the audience’s attention to the matter. When Miss Tesman declares that she will visit her “every single day” even in the face of Hedda’s disgust and obvious disapproval, the possibility of future conflict is set up. Conflict betwe .....

In the first passage Macbeth says:
This supernatural soliciting
Cannot be ill, cannot be good. If ill,
Why hath it given me earnest of success,
Commencing in a truth? I am Thane of Cawdor:
If good, why do I yield to that suggestion
Whose horrid image doth unfix my hair
And make my seated heart k .....
