Words: 607 - Pages: 3.... pop quizzes, homework, detentions, and cheating are just a few
of the complaints that occur at school.
Budging, whether in the lunch-line or the bathroom line, is
completely unfair. (Unless, of course, you're the person budging.) A line
is formed as a way to make everyone wait the same. The whole system is
ruined if someone budges. Budging is rarely caught, but when it is, the
punishment is severe. The person who budged usually has to go to the end
of the line. The only problem with this is that people aren't caught often
enough.
Cheating is yet another of the unfair practices that go on in
school. This kind of deceit is a .....

An Utopian Society Is Wrong For Our Society
Words: 335 - Pages: 2.... that there is no uniqueness, things that would
usually set people apart don't stand out as much, If you were very
intelligent people probably would not bring it up because it would draw
attention. If somebody brought attention to somebody smarter then others,
people would feel jealous, angry, and not as smart.
One last reason is that people get to make their own choices. Something
people enjoy in life is getting to choose who they marry, where they live,
their job and other things like that. Choices are usually about every day
life, only the person who the choice is about has the right to make the
decision definate, not anybody else.

Words: 5596 - Pages: 21.... conflicts: conflicts allow important issues to be aired; they produce new and creative ideas; they release built-up tension; they can strengthen relationships; they can cause groups and organizations to re-evaluate and clarify goals and missions; and they can also stimulate social change to eliminate inequities and injustices. These advantages are raised to justify a normal healthy occurrence and to stress the importance of understanding and handling it properly. Evil From Morals
Words: 1240 - Pages: 5.... believed evil was a matter of ignorance.
Ancient Persians saw good and evil as two principles, "engaged in a perpetual
struggle."(Collier) In reality, evil is merely the absence of good. "The essence
of all reality is good, evil is merely the faulty reflection of reality found in
a world of particulars."(Funk & Wagnalls) There can be many different types of
evil. Two of such types are moral evil and natural evil. Natural evil consists

The Wild Life: Single And Married Couples
Words: 758 - Pages: 3.... There are vast differences between the lifestyles of single
people and that of married people that make it unmistakably difficult to
remain close friends. Single people live in a world of spontaneity, filled
with chaos. Everything is up in the air. They have no idea what day it is
much less if they have plans for the next weekend. Married people operate
on plans. They have such a full life a schedule is necessary to fit
everything in. A couple of weeks ago I ran into an old friend, an old yet
single friend. We talked for a while, reminiscing about high school and
past boyfriends, and decided we had to get together some time soon. .....

Overpopulation
Words: 434 - Pages: 2.... distributions. To feed future populations, agriculture output levels must keep pace with exponential population growths. Unless population growth is slowed, food production shortages and environmental degradation will persist.
Today, more than 99 percent of the world's food supply comes from land, the continous production of adequate food supply is directly dependent on land, water, and energy. As the population increases, so does the amount of resources needed. Even though they are not depleted, they are declining at a significant rate because they are divided by such a large number.
Fertile cropland is also a big concern. The world's .....
