Using the sign as an opposing force, Ellison shows his passion for the negative attitude towards blacks by giving the Invisible Man a sense of hostility towards the advertisement. The second thing of significance is the fact that is one instant Biff now doesn’t want Willy to get his grade changed. Because Judge Miller had a big house to live in, the book implied that he was wealthy. The trip to Seattle must of taken days and by then, Judge Miller would’ve been worried sick about his inseparable companion. Scout also realizes that she wrongfully treated Boo when she thinks about the gifts in the tree. She never gave anything back to Boo, except love at the end. It is not until the end of the story that the boy realizes from one of the Sisters, Eliza, about the priest madness as well as his physical and spiritual paralysis. He understands that the priest had been a living his life in a way he felt would be satisfying to the church which eventually led to his death.
