Words: 522 - Pages: 2.... hero of the blues, spoke: "Well Instructgar, my orb-foe, you have spoke of many matches between us but failed to tell of the blue defeat of the orange bearers. It is I who unfalteringly derived the strategies to overpower your helmet-squad upon which you have failed to avenge.
Battle of the Orange and Blue
Late into the last match-quarter of the contest, son of Coachtheow stood before his battle-weary men, tired from the challenge at-hand. The roar of the bevy-clappers was loud now and overpowered Coachingwulf's dialogue-map. Coachingwulf and his bearers of blue bowed their brows and bellowed a battle cry. The M .....

Personal Writing: Non-Conformity

his mother. It seemed as if our group only talked about service projects,
which need to be done and are great, but never God. I really wanted to grow
spiritually and know more about God. I was not receiving that knowledge at
that church.
I met some really great people last year who went to Redeemer's. I
was invited to one of their youth group meetings, and I was amazed that
thirty high-school kids were there. We talked in-depth about Jesus and
chapters of the Bible. I really enjoyed it. I talked to my parents about
switching churches. They knew that Redeemer's was right for me, but at the
same time, they wanted me to stay with my old .....

Creative Writing: One More Basket
Words: 819 - Pages: 3.... "Hey," Jenny said. "I could join that team and maybe make new
friends."
So she went inside and signed up.
A week later she got a call form her new coach. He said practice was
on Tuesday. She was so happy. Now she knew she could make new friends.
That Tuesday she went to practice. It wasn't as she expected. As she
walked in, all the girls started whispering. Jenny didn't have any doubt
what it was about. All the girls started doing lay-ups and before Jenny
knew it, practice was over. Jenny went to practice after practice and soon
found that she wasn't that bad.
"Okay Pirates," coach announced. "Tomorrow .....

Visits To The School Office
Words: 549 - Pages: 2.... for being there.
The second force that will call a student to the office is a teacher
asking him to run an errand. The privilege of avoiding class to run an
errand for the teacher is always fought over. This type of office trip
usually involves dropping off some scrap of paper to the proper individual
or hunting someone down to ask them a question. Sometimes, finding the
right person or whatever can become a quite lengthy procedure, taking the
student's search all across the campus and eventually concluding at
McDonald's or Taco Bell. This type of office visit is by far the most fun.
The final, and most dreaded type of office summo .....

Studying Abroad And Its Effects On Me
Words: 708 - Pages: 3.... with myself than before. During my first week in the university I was so depressed that I seriously thought of leaving the university. Few weeks later I changed my mind and I recognized how much could I have regret this action if I had did it. This added to me the experience of ability to coupe with life either good or bad. In the University I still haven’t made any trustable friends and there was no one who could listen to me.
I had no thoughts or imagination for my future however now I have a dream that I am trying to accomplish. I am now more responsible for myself and I am able to manage my needs more efficiently. My father used to ar .....

Personal Writing: What I Learned This Semester In English Class
Words: 713 - Pages: 3.... the grade.
This isn't a completely bad thing, though. It teaches me that my writing
really wasn't very good. What I used to think deserved an "A" I now
realize only does deserve a "C." Now I have to take my writing more
seriously, and try much harder at producing good output. Also, my goal
isn't to write a paper that will get a good grade. Now, my goal is to
write better papers. I write to become a better writer.
That is, I feel, a very important thing that I learned this semester. I
don't think, "O.K., I have to get at least a B on this paper." Instead, I
think, "O.K., I have to use this assignment to improve my work." This is a .....

Creative Writing: Dogs And Cats
Words: 5027 - Pages: 19.... lay down. This was the third time
in a week that they'd failed. He had been around long enough to know when he was
beat.
"No respect. Where's the respect?" Scampi circled the tree in a haze of
anger, his tiny legs beating furiously on the grass. The beagle could never
quite get over a loss. Mustard lay his head on the ground and watched the
passage of time on the street while Scampi vented.
Soon, Roy the Basset and his owner walked by. Mustard nodded hello.
"Who's that?" Roy asked, looking in the tree.
"Dunno. New in town."
"Which house?"
"No house."
"Freeloader, hm? Give him one from me." Roy's owner shushed him. Poor
guy. Owner wa .....

Achilles Anophtheis (Achilles Revisited)
Words: 3355 - Pages: 13.... the United States
of America. The discoveries are literally pouring in, and we have our
hands full simply cataloguing the numerous finds. Our first find was a
small rectangular object, containing a spool of thin ribbon, which one of
our historians identified as what was known as a cassette. Simply put, it
was a device on which sounds could be recorded. From its small size, our
historian conjectured that it was of a type designed for recording the
human voice rather than music. Armed with this belief, we managed to
convince the Censor Society to allow us to reconstruct the primitive
machine to play back the message we hoped it would .....

What Is Freedom
Words: 385 - Pages: 2.... prefer being called a hacker due to the fact (of which I
stated earlier) that people, especially business people, make it sound like
a hacker is someone who destroys precious information in which they have
spent so much of their valuable time retrieving. I feel that is just a
bunch of (excuse my vulgarity) crap. I feel people should have the right
to know what they want to know without being accused of breaking and
entering, and trespassing in someone else's computer.
I think people are just getting defensive when I seem to know more
than I should know. Like, a teacher or someone that has supposedly had
high level of training, or is an e .....

Books; Life Long Friends
Words: 771 - Pages: 3.... effect on me in childhood as well as
later on in life. She was my finest friend throughout grammar and Junior High
school. We fancied relishing our lunches together. Laughing about the boys'
wicked ways and planning our revenge at the ensuing recess. This always made
lunch go by so swiftly. It was hard to tear us apart. Hell, it was hard to
tell us apart. We were both round bodied and a bit out of shape. But I always
saw Belle in a jovial light. She had a merry way about her, and her laugh was
infectious; it reminded me if Christmas bells, tingly, jingling and warm. I
miss her. She was happy, giving and warm. Upon reflection, .....
