Creative Story: In Short
Words: 681 - Pages: 3.... years was read bunch of know-nothings who sit and
pretend to run a hospital. The mistakes weren't very frequent, at least, not
until I started to drink.
I suppose you want to know the reason I started to drink. Well, I mess
up big time during a triple bypass and killed a patient. That's when the
drinking started and the drinking lead to the death of another patient. Now I
drink even more and remember even less which means its working.
About a month ago I left England, which is where I worked, and moved
here to a small fishing island off the coast of France. There is no doctor on
the island so they welcomed me, sort of. I scare them .....

Personal Writing: My Life Line
Words: 1074 - Pages: 4.... “Hello, my name is Hank, nice to meet you.”
I almost didn't respond because I was laughing at a man named Hank from
India had just come into my house, but I got out a , “very good, how are
you?”
He didn't look like, act like, or even dress like an American, but
with a name like Hank it was the only thing that would make sense to me. If
his name had been Akbar or Jabar, it wouldn't have been so strange for me.
But Hank?...come on. What were his parents thinking. It could start a
tribal war or whatever those people in India do for fun.
Although I was confused I shook his hand warmly. He continued on to
his room and .....

Words: 544 - Pages: 2.... the reflection of the burning fire in the fire
place positioned in the center of the wall.
At the end of the stairs you see a large wooden door, as you open
it, you find yourself in a gigantic library. All of the books are placed in
alphabetical order and contain most of the topics.
To the left of the library there are countless doors on both sides
of the hallway. Each door is the entrance to a room that is made for a
specific theme. The themes would be based on my favorite movies, places,
activities, etc.
The third floor contains my bedroom, my office , three bathrooms,
one of the indoor pools, the billiard room. My bedroom is an oval .....

Creative Writing: Mayor Of Casterbridge
Words: 535 - Pages: 2.... felt he owed it to himself to try
and pick up the pieces of his shattered life in case Susan should ever find him
again, despite the slim chance of that ever happening. Though he had his faults,
Henchard was strong-minded when he decided to be.
At the next several doors, Henchard was very stubborn. When he would at
first be refused, he would insist upon a chance to prove his worthiness by
performing some task for the shopkeeper. Most simply refused, but at some
places it got him in the door to speak as best he could on his own behalf. It
was near the end of the street that one shopkeeper agreed to take on Henchard's
services, bu .....

Quarry Hill
Words: 2060 - Pages: 8.... tried to think. Finally an idea excited me enough to
actually say something.
"I know! Lets go to the Quarries in Uxbridge and go swimming! I've
never been and I hear it's a cool place!"
"Yeah!" It was clear to me that Rudy is a quick thinker -- I barely
finished my idea before he was in agreement. "Come on Tom, lets go to the
Quarries!" Rudy said to get a response out of him. Tom -- still in his
"quiet mode" -- looked Rudy right in the eye, blinked, gave a half laugh,
and smiled.
"Well, all right. It's 1:00am, I think I'm going to go to bed now."
I was getting bored with the silence, and Tom wasn't going to move int .....

My Summer As A Counselor In Traing At Camp Morasha
Words: 556 - Pages: 3.... how to enjoy a summer vacation. But I decided to perservere, hoping to
be switched to another bunk. Alas, no such switch came, and I was driven to the
brink of insanity by these innocent looking young devils. These kids saw
nothing wrong with playing sports inside the bunk (and breaking three windows
while doing so), going weeks without showering, or with not going to sleep.
I soon realized that however insane these kids seemed to be, they were
not as unreasonable as I had originally thought. They just had to be given
suitable reasons or alternatives. And it was up to me to come up with these
reasons and alternatives. I knew that I .....

Personal Writing: My First Time Experiencing Riding A Bicycle
Words: 588 - Pages: 3.... as a decoration for a month because I refused to ride it. Honestly,
I was scared to try it.
After a month, my dad gave me a lecture to teach me what being a man
was all about. I was finally determined to try it. My dad was proud of me and
I felt very manly. He and I went to the park to see what we could do there.
The park was empty when we arrived. I had no dought that my dad told
everybody not to be there because we had to use it. I felt badly for other
people, but I was proud to have such an onnipotent person as my dad.
We found a smooth and a often space. My dad was holding the rear of the
seat to make sur .....

Personal Writing: The Evaluation Of My Coaches
Words: 824 - Pages: 3.... and other warm-ups. The coach was very strict. No horse play or
unnecessary talking or anything else we knew would make the coach mad. Coach
would have us do drills having to do with the plays we ran during the game. If
we made a mistake coach would stop us and make an example of whoever messed up.
He would say, "Did everyone see what Bryan just did? That is what you should
not do." He would then gripe a little and after that we would continue our
practice. I feel that this method of coaching during practice made my teammates
and I closer as a team during the game, but we always dreaded practice. I
prefer the nice-guy coaching met .....

The Cask Of Amontillado: Creative Writing
Words: 561 - Pages: 3.... I decided the next morning I would go back to the
crime scene to check for clues. The next morning I called Mr. Machiano and
asked him to meet me at the palazzo. As I approached the body I began to feel a
little queasy from last night's dinner but luckily I brought some herbal tea to
help soothe my stomach. Anyway, I began to search the ground around the body
hoping to find some clues. I noticed a gold bracelet on the ground near the
body, and it read Montrsor. I decided to do a little more research on this man.
I went to the station and asked the secretary to show me the file on any person
missing for more than 20 years. The list on .....

Visual Deficit
Words: 415 - Pages: 2.... is the time so all I did was set my kitchen timer for fifteen minutes. This was not only easy because I could estimate one quarter of the way around the timer, but also because it has little lines and numbers that stick out.
Physically I got through my workout as usual but emotionally I did not. Within the first ten minutes of having the glasses on I felt sad. I already missed seeing my surroundings with unimpaired vision. There is nothing to interesting to look at in our exercise room but I actually missed reading the same old posters that I read over and over almost unconsciously. One poster says, “Stone Cold 3:16,” with a pic .....
