Creative Story: One Strange Trip
Words: 1221 - Pages: 5.... saw that they were not. I decided that I could not leave
this place until I had enjoyed a can of pop. By the 3rd day, I had to scout for
food and water because I was feeling malnourished. As I walked around I found a
snack machine the kind with many divine foods inside such as candy bar and chips,
but still no way to eat them. I stayed here until morning trying to rig a
transport of some sort for it. I cut a tree down and made 4 wheels and
eventually a cart to support the machine and than to transport the machine to
the other. This was such a great task, I forgot about my hunger. By dusk I had
arrived back at the pop machine. As .....

Creative Writing: My Idea Of Where The Heck Life Came From
Words: 337 - Pages: 2.... the hairballs. After these cats left, these little martian bugs and
small furry animals resembling monkeys crawled out of the hairballs and
from that evolved into what we know as life today.
Wouldn't my idea of the theory of life work? I mean, they did find
these little microorganisms in the rocks on Mars. Also, bribed sources from
inside the Pentagon and NASA have quoted that they have found bone
fragments of what appear to be little creatures resembling monkeys, and
also these balls of hair with an unknown origin. Really. I Promise. Want
more proof? Remember that face on Mars? The one in the Cydonia basin next
to the pyramids and th .....

Personal Writing: A Schoolyard Lesson
Words: 1336 - Pages: 5.... meeting my first crossing guard; I made my way into the school. It was
quite crowded , but I knew where I was headed. I proceeded up the stairs and
down the hall to room 212, where I sat down in the front row. I turned around
and took a quick peak at the class; scanning the room for someone to talk to.
When I saw no opportunities I began to get a bit timid, but as soon as the bell
rang I felt all right.
We went through the motions for awhile: filling out paper work,
introducing ourselves, all the first day stuff. I heard a few kids say they
were new to the area, of which Brian Vedder was the only boy. He wasn't much to
look at, .....

Ballet Analysis: Self Evaluation
Words: 2005 - Pages: 8.... helpful. When you tendu, flatten, and drag your foot back to first, I can really feel my hips and rotators working. I also really worked on using the floor during the tendus - I know I could be using the floor much more in every exercise. On the releves, I focused on tightening my abdominals and lengthening my lower back. Its amazing how much that centers your balance! I also noticed that at the beginning of the course, my feet would cramp terribly during the releves, but as I got stronger, the cramping stopped and my releve became much higher. The balances in coupe were extremely helpful. I learned that if I really press my working .....

Creative Play: A Royal Life
Words: 573 - Pages: 3.... Yes, Yes, how true. Especially the pretty things. Our dresses
are brightly colored and extremely detailed, as that was the movement in fashion
of our time. These things are very expensive and only royalty such as ourselves
can afford such a luxury.
LAUREN: Say, do you know what's for dinner tonight?
JADIE: Silly girl! Its what we have every night in the castle Ingvey,
Everything! A feast of huge proportions. Bread, cheese, meat, fish, vegetables…
all made fresh by the peasants this morning. Yes, what a glorious time to live.

in our feast?

Creative Story: Lycanthrope
Words: 3561 - Pages: 13.... I was doing, that sort of
thing. Then suddenly his voice took on a more serious tone.
"Niles, you have to come here. I may need your help."
"What is it, Lyle? What's wrong?"
"I can't tell you over the phone." He whispered. "It's too important.
You have to be here."
"In Africa?" I said in disbelief.
"Yes, here. It's that important."
"But Lyle--"
"I'm an animal over here!" He hissed into the phone. "I can't tell you
any more. I don't dare. Please, Niles, don't tell anyone what happens when you
get here, or anything about this phone call. It means my life, Niles, and it
could mean my death."
I caught the nearest plane ou .....

Bleeding Ireland And Black America
Words: 4743 - Pages: 18.... don't ever come to the ghetto,”
as I put in a tape. My thought stream continues as it takes me to another place
where guerrilla warfare and terrorism are a part of daily life.
The gunshots and unruly pitbull barking registers over the calm of the
wet playground. Trash strings the streets and every dwelling has an eight foot,
black, metal fence circuitously about it. Two white faces gape over the hood of
a parked Cadillac. Besides the police parked down the block, they are probably
the only Caucasians in a five mile square radius. Two companies of drug dealers
fire at will scrambling for control of a superior capital making outpost. Ev .....

Metamorphous, Relating To A Personal Incident
Words: 1959 - Pages: 8.... The most horrid
device that I had ever used. I looked at the cylindrical tube, that once
used to be a transparent red but now had become a solid maroon from all
the smoke which stained the plastic, and noticed its simplicity. It
looks like nothing more than a plastic pipe that was only about one and a
half inches in diameter and only about six inches long. The bowl which
rested on top could have been easily assembled at a hardware store. It
amazes me how something could be so simple but still so destructive.
One of the people in the room slowly approached me as the effects of his
artificial happiness wore away. His trembling hands somehow m .....

Words: 785 - Pages: 3.... gossip." The ensign was only trying
to ease the pressure with his antics, but the humour in his voice was
clearly forced. The Captain grunted, and several petty officers chuckled.
Yet, none could deny that Fear lived among them. The spectre was clearly
an unwanted and certainly uninvited guest, but not even the many fathoms of
jet black water could keep him from his prey. He fed on fear, and the
greatest feast of all was just beginning.
Meanwhile, the mouse began to grow restless in his hole.
"Helm," the voice was confidant, "bring us about to a new bearing -
6148 mark 72."
"Yes, sir, coming to new bearing." Moments .....
