We did not know if the glue would ignite it or not so we tested it out on a small sample of black powder. The glue did not ignite the black powder, so we filled up the pipe with hot glue. We then screwed the steal cap back on the pipe with the fuse sticking out. We were done with making the bomb. Last we decided what did we want to do with it now that it was done. All of us were in a destructive mood at the time. So we ended up going out in the middle of the woods where no one lived for 10 miles .....

.... interesting to talk with American students. After camp started, I talked with the Japanese friends I had met at the airport because I was too afraid to speak in a language I had studied for only three months. However, I wanted to make American friends because I thought it was senseless to come here if I only talked with Japanese friends. On the second day, we were divided into teams with three to five Americans on a team. I tried to use my poor English to make American friends, but it was really difficult. Not only will I be receiving a four year education in the major of my childhood dreams, but it would give me a chance to attend a prestigious university. When asking the majority of my friends what colleges they are applying to, I get the response of UMASS, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.… In return, I give them my answer of "I want to attend Indiana University. .... fishing day had come, at least in our minds it had. In the meantime, my dad backed the boat into the salty murky water as I got the boat ready for our day long journey. I set the navigation system to a favorite fishing spot of ours which was about twenty-five miles out called the Pelican Flats. We headed out on the gently, quiet, rolling blue monster's back as our twenty-two foot vessel handled the one to two foot ocean swells with sheer ease. Once, my father has taught me that ¡§ One reaps no more that what he has sown.¡¨ I have never understood that sentence until I have tried all my best to get into a college.
