Ignorrance Is Bliss
Words: 522 - Pages: 2.... simple trivia questions. Wow! Some of the responses they get to these questions. I would like to find out how many correct responses they get for each of these stupid ones, but I have a feeling it is not that many. If they do get many correct responses, than when they find the stupid people, they really find the stupid people. Many of them seem totally clueless to their own ignorrance. If , than these people must really be happy. Television is definately not the only place to run into stupid people however.

the other students, so the two friends said a comment back to each other in
defence. It started of as a small game, but by the end of the class, it was

the other; "lets take this out side". Everyone around them urged them to fight
so after the class that's exactly what they did. Arms were flying everywhere,

I remember standing there helplessly wanting to stop them, but knew .....

often victimized by blacks. The rate of black on white crime is now where near

Gangs
Words: 1466 - Pages: 6.... peers into becoming part of a gang by making it all sound glamorous. Money is also an crucial factor. A kid (a 6-10 year old, who is not yet a member) is shown that s/he could make $200 to $400 for small part time gang jobs. Although these are important factors they are not strong enough to make kids do things that are strongly against their morals.
One of the ways that kids morals are bent so that gang violence becomes more acceptable is the influence of television and movies. The average child spends more time at a TV than she/he spends in a classroom. Since nobody can completely turn off their minds, kids must be learning something w .....

Leadership
Words: 554 - Pages: 3.... I am involved in,
and in Lincoln County 4-H.
Leadership is not something you can take lightly. Many students at
my high school would get elected to a leadership position and not perform
the jobs and duties associated with the office. It was more of a
popularity contest than a serious commitment. Over the years, I have been
elected to several offices and I have realized that if you are elected to a
leadership position you should perform the job duties because many people
are counting on you. I have tried to the best of my ability to live up to
my commitments.
I also realize that not all leadership positions are elected or
appointed. M .....
