Teen Pregnancy
Words: 559 - Pages: 3.... this article, I also found out that 43% of all adolescents become pregnant before the age of 20.
I feel as though many women do not know how to resist peer pressure or temptation, I feel, as though they should resort to abstinence.
Abstinence is without a question the best policy, and should be emphasized as not just the preferred choice, but the safest- to prevent pregnancy as well as some diseases that range from troublesome to deadly. Abstinence gives teens a better chance to develop into successful adults. In addition to what moral codes say about premarital sex, few would disagree that its simply not a good idea to experiment w .....

Is Animal Testing Right?
Words: 685 - Pages: 3.... we doing it to animals?
Animal testing is probably the most unjust form of treatment for any animal. Humans have rights, which are protected by the bill of rights. Animals also have rights, but only animal activists protect them. Anyone knows that if groups of humans were being tortured or even killed then it would make many headlines on the evening news, and of course, it would be stopped. On a daily basis animal testing in the Proctor and Gamble laboratories does go on, and yet none of this is even mentioned on the evening news. It just continues.
Although many argue that animal testing is cruel and immoral, some people find good things .....

Personal Values In Today's Society
Words: 1256 - Pages: 5.... on the bottom of the screen. Oh
well it must not have been important. Wont my wife love me even if I can't
afford to buy her this bracelet? I wonder if this is going to leave an
impression on anyone with an anniversary coming up? Could that be the
intention?
If I want to enjoy work I had better listen to the lite fm 93.9.,
and for lunch I can run out to Arby's for 99 cent roast beef sandwiches,
but only for a limited time. And if those roast beef sandwiches get me
sick I can go to Osco and get some medicine twenty-four hours a day. All
of these ads just came rapid fire. Is this playing upon my need for
instant gratification? A .....

chemical in marijuana. But there are also 400 other chemicals in the marijuana
plant.
LSD
LSD is very potent: the effective dose is measured in micrograms (ug) --
however, the lethal dose is literally thousands of times that, making the
drug essentially non-toxic. LSD can be administered a number of ways,
the most common: orally through paper, sugar cubes, on a piece of gelatin,
or by pill; intravenously; or intramuscularly. A standard dose with
noticeable hallucinogenic effects is about 100-200 ug. The intensity of the
trip is proportional to the size of .....

Smokers: The Right To Pursuit Of Happiness
Words: 485 - Pages: 2.... a cigarette.
Right now all smokers at Albright are being treated as second class
citizens. We are forced to stand outside in the cold. There are no
comfortable seats for us to sit in. We either sit on the steps or the stone
benches. What happened to our right to the pursuit of happiness? Why should
we be forced outside just to smoke a cigarette. It is not right. We should
be able to enjoy a cigarette in comfort. We are entitled to the same
treatment as every other student here at Albright. We are entitled to a
comfortable chair when we want to sit down. It doesn't matter if we want to
smoke a cigarette while we're sitting.
The Declaratio .....

Fitting In
Words: 546 - Pages: 2.... its a nasty feeling. Some people let others down easy and that is nice of
them.
Why is it so hard to fit in? There is so much social pressure now that
it is getting harder and harder to "fit in". When I say social pressure I mean
how to act, look, sound, walk, and so on. Clothes play a very important role in
fitting in with the crowd. People say that a first impression is the most
important one so people try to make the best first impression by dressing up or
showing someone there not. Some people try to stay in fashion, they do this to
stand out or be noticed. A huge role in fitting in is changing or, in other
words, being someone .....

Dragons In America
Words: 583 - Pages: 3.... monsters as scary as possible. The television
is another source of violence in the world. It seems that every shows on TV has
to do with some kind of terrible murder. Shows like “New York Undercover”
always end up with a seen where someone is shot to death. This makes the viewer
perceive society as a place too dangerous to live in.
A very obvious monster in America is a criminal. Americans fear burglars,
rapists, and killers in their own cities and states. They are feared because
their victims are people like themselves and are victimized in very familiar
places to the average American. That is why people protect themselves with

sun from the time they first enter until they leave, hours later, relieved

offers plenty of docking points — usually next to major commercial outlets —
for cars that circle in search of the closest slot and an easy entrance.
Third, the mall offers an extraordinary variety of products under
