formed secular orders of chivalry such as the English Order of the Garter and
the Burgundian Order of the Golden Fleece. By this time, however, chivalry had
become largely a system of etiquette. Tournaments, in which knights had

World Cultures: Comparing China And The United States
Words: 717 - Pages: 3.... already know, it's one of the last
communist governments left in the world. In a communist government the
government runs everything, the businesses and jobs, they pay everyone equally.
This does though have problems. People have no incentive to work, no matter
how good a job they do they still get the same pay. In the US we have a
Democratic-Republic which means we elect who we want to run the government for
us. People are free to sell anything for any price they want as long it has
been approved and is not an illegal substance. The US has always been a
Democratic-Republic, that was the reason why the United States was formed.

whatever it was that we did not understand. In the latter case, the hatred
may increase with understanding, but the object of the hatred has shifted.

the altruistic to the reactionary. The altruists, wishing peace without
societal discord, tell us to repress our hatred and replace it with love, a

stability as a result of constant expulsion of malefic urges.
Neither of these, or combinations .....

but some teens will never try drugs. Teenagers will turn to drugs for answers
to problems. To avoid having problems with your teen, spend time with them and
talk to them. In dealing with a teen who has taken illegal drugs, you as a
parent need to try to understand why you teen has committed the crime. Only
when you understand the child, then you can give the appropriate punishment.
Another important factor in discipline is to make sure that the teen
understands why what they have done is wrong, and show them scripture to explain
it. If a child does not know why what they have done is bad, they will like .....

Issues On Gun Control
Words: 622 - Pages: 3.... be a very real one. With the interests of political activist groups such as the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Congress has had a tough time passing any legislation that would benefit the public and curtail the sail and manufacture of armor piercing bullets, automatic rifles and Uzis. Unfortunately, we tend to interpret the Constitution to broadly. Obviously, in the late 1700's, there were no deadly weapons to contend with. They had muskets, which could hardly be used in a very swift and deadly manner. Granted, the musket could kill, but if you asked any semi-sensible person if they would ra .....
