When my father had come home from the hospital, he told us all that our
mother had been envlolved in a serious car accident, and that she wouldn't be
home for a few weeks. I don't remember very much after that, except for the fact
that the period of time my mother was in the hospital fell on her birthday. So,

would be answering that shift. As I entered the room, a crying relative came
yelling at me. "He is going, something happened, do something, do something

best effect, these frightful stories were ghost stories. A group of five
to ten children would sit around and listen to the teller with great
attention and tension. As a rule, for the best effect, these frightful
stories were told at nighttime in the garden. Everybody tried to look
very brave, including me. However, in the depth of my heart, I was afraid
of darkness. That’s why each time I returned home I did not walk, but ran
with the feeling that heroes of the stories would come alive and make
terrible trouble for me.
I don’t remember how long these story-telling sessions went on,
maybe a few mont .....

Slow Ride
Words: 601 - Pages: 3.... driving skills, was being a little "reckless". There were no other cars around and I wanted to have some fun and impress those girls in the back seat. I was pulling hand-brake turns, pretending that I was in a Formula one racing car, screeching the tires and driving on the wrong side of the road. I was taking hairpin turns thirty kilometers over the speed limit.
"I'm in England!" Jack would yell as he poked his head out of the sunroof.
Though I could barely hear him above the blaring music.
I felt care and worry free. We were headed for the first party of the school year, and rather quickly at that. I was so preoccupied with the road and .....

might prevent the world war. There would be the input, but no output.
She'll think she's winning, and that I'm getting too easy, and she's too
much for me. Sure it could work. But like I said I want to keep my
"Macho man, don't mess with me" reputation, which I feel strongly about.
Another thing I could do is simply help her whenever she does
anything wrong. But the problem is, she does practically everything wrong.
That can get very annoying, and could spark a match. And then I'm back to
square one. One other problem I have with this solution is that virtually

he almost certainly would end up if apprehended. At this very quick speed he
increased his lead and put himself out of danger. After half an hour, he exited
in a conspicuous place where his hide-out was located. "They'll never catch me

A Remedy For My Sweet Tooth
Words: 652 - Pages: 3.... time. In one package of Skittles I can chow on flavors like grape, lemon, green apple, and orange. Munching on these tasty candies gives me a visual. I feel as though I am picking the actual fruit off of the tree it is on and taking a massive bite out of it.
I experience a totally different sensation when I suck on a sour coated candy. Warheads are one of my favorites. Eating one of these potent pellets is a tortuous thing to do to myself, but I love the risk. My face cringes up and my eyes’ are squinted shut until I get every last tart coating off. Sour Patch Kids are also a trip. These little children like squishy candies I ca .....
