because of bad grades. As his friend, I knew he was doing fine until the period

the exam because he was afraid of failure. Since Eric's older brothers had

he would ever walk along this beautiful beach.
As his eyes watched the waves, and how they caressed the muddy shoreline,

Personal Writing: The Lake

stopped and starred in awe. The lake had appeared so shiny and reflective, it
resembled a finely-cut diamond. The rare and distinct fragrance enticed us. It
smelled like mother-nature herself, with aromas ranging from wildlife and wet
grass, to evaporated swamp water and healthy dirt.
Then, the time for us to find the desired vessel arrived. We chose the
kayaks, and set out for the water. Carefully, with our torn-jeans rolled up,

The Old Lady Next Door
Words: 831 - Pages: 4.... to take the big heap of blue and white trash away to the recycling center. All the paint is falling off; the wheels are made of soft rubber that go flat when you sit in the car. The inside smells like someone died. I don’t even think that she’s ever washed anything in there. When looking inside, you see more garbage than you could ever find in any garbage dump. The seats are all torn up inside, as if she let a wild cat run through her car and tear it up. If you listen very closely you can hear little scratching noises. I think that it’s from the mice and rodents inside the car somewhere.

Equality
