The westward movement began, and it didn’t take long for people to find the area that would become Cincinnati. Because of its rich soil and abundance of rivers, which were vital to the transportation and livelihood of the day, settlers started arriving by 1788. Personal Writing: At The Hockey Game
Words: 442 - Pages: 2.... looking vanilla sundae, mounded with plump,
juicy strawberries, and perfectly round indigo blueberries-it made my mouth
salivate, and I knew that I had to taste one. As I edged toward my seat, I
noticed Little Ceasars advertising grease puddled on top pepperoni pizza
and a frothy mug; emersed with crisp cold beer…this teased my temptation.
With only a few dollars left, and my arms filled with delectable treats, I
finally reached gate 201.
I pushed the heavy blue drapery to my side. Standing in awe, my
eyes scanned the gigantic arena. Everyone, including myself could feel the
anxiety dripping from the air. Music blared, colored te .....

The "Around The World" Party At College
Words: 1215 - Pages: 5.... into it to see if it had been used, we both
shrugged and turned towards the basement. As I pushed my way through the
crowd to look for the keg I immediately knew it was in the corner because
of the crowd surrounding it. Once I reached the keg, I found myself

not filling them first come first serve. He would fill the cups of his
friends first, then the girls, and then if he had to fill up his own cup he
would. While doing this he was talking his friend whose job it was to
pump the keg when needed. People were sticking their cups in front of the
tap as if .....

Dating In Highschool To Real Life Love Situations
Words: 1077 - Pages: 4.... them, and my class was no exception.
Accordingly, my closest friends had boyfriends who were also good
friends, in the grade above us. It was all one big circle of girlfriends
and boyfriends. If you didn’t find your own boyfriend or girlfriend,
usually this certain circle would be the ones responsible for intervening
and setting you up with someone. It almost seemed unfair, but that’s just
how things were.
Most of the time I was, unfortunately, the one being set up. It
wasn’t that I couldn’t find anyone, but usually I didn’t want or need a
significant other. Apparently, my friends thought differently. They
insisted that I .....

No Need For Drastic Change
Words: 854 - Pages: 4.... today has been shaped by the ways people interact with one another. Presonal Writing: My First Impression Of My Teacher Miss Vicki
Words: 385 - Pages: 2.... fortunate enough to be my form teacher

face the fact that we were going to meet each other for the next 365 days.
Instead of trying too hard to lick her boots, I tried my best to be my natural
self in front of her.
Still, I could not shake off the ice-cold image that she possessed in my
heart. True, her corney jokes sometimes sent me into frolicking laughter, yet at
other times these jokes simply fell flat the moment she uttered them. My lovely
class, however was always ready to laugh .....

Creative Writing: The Nightmare

mortals have asked why the wolves follow me and

corpses and torn parts afield, now can one?
Our relationship has endured for thousa .....
