A manifest example of this was the infamous Oedipus of The Theban Plays, a man who tried to defy fate, and therefore sinned. .... rushes back to Denmark and, with a crowd of followers, burst into the castle prepared to kill his father's murderer. Laertes, in great contrast to Hamlet, takes immediate action. Finally, Fortinbras represents the middle path of revenge. He does not miss the knock of opportunity because of over analysis, nor does he act too swiftly to realize whom he should attack. In the end of the play, Fortinbras arrives just as everyone is dying and does not have to exert a great deal of strength to accomplish his task because the others have killed one another. He is the one person who is revered by everyone within school except Edward Rooney, dean of students. Rooney’s main goal is to catch Ferris and make an example of him to the rest of the student body. He would have been a much better leader if he would have just kept an open mind and listened to what others, especially his family, told him. Poised to dispel the belief that blacks would not be disciplined under fire, the Fifty-fourth leads the almost suicidal attack on Ft. Wagner. There Col. According to the book In Her Own Image, "women artists have been silenced, lost hidden, or neglected through the centuries, that is in large part because they have lacked an audience aware of their existence or willing to consider their work".
