The reasons for this can possibly be summed up in saying simply, Birth of a Nation. Although this is regarded as his masterpiece, if it was never made, it is quite possible that his name would have remained as known as Beethoven. The problem is that it is such an amazing movie on a technological and aesthetic level, but looking at Birth of a Nation in a moral sense, it is almost embarrassing to mention it. There are a handful of reasons for this, but first in order to get a proper perception, one must first learn a bit of hist .....

Through his over-analysis he seems to be almost talking himself out of doing his job. One of Hamlet's most renown traits is his over-analysis of conversational topics and situations in which action must be taken. An example of his over-analytical nature is apparent in his speech in act one, scene four, line 13. He begins his speech quite normally, replying with a simple answer to Horatio's inquiry but then his thoughts begin to wander and he starts to analyze and philosophize .....

They could not vote, own property, or choose a husband, and had to be represented by men in all legal proceedings. In some ways, these Greek women were almost like slaves. There is a definite relationship between this subordination of women and what transpires in the play. Jason decides that he wants to divorce Medea and marry the princess of Corinth, casting Medea aside as if they had never been married. This sort of activity was acceptable by Greek standards, and shows the subordinate status of the woman, who had no say in any .....
