A Tragic Day
Words: 1016 - Pages: 4.... switched from interstate 275 to interstate 4. By that time the traffic was very dense and I was very angry due to the previous events I was involved in.
It was a three lane highway and I was driving on the left lane, my exit was few minutes away and I knew that if I didn’t switch lanes rapidly I would have to drive two to three more miles on a very slow moving traffic. I decide to begin switching lanes, I successfully transferred from the left lane to the middle lane even though there was hardly any space between cars. I turned my turning signal on and slowly began to switch to the right lane. The car next to me didn’t give a chance .....

Personal Writing: My Room
Words: 859 - Pages: 4.... swords to an unique
Tanzanian lion-hunting arrow. All of these things I acquired traveling
throughout Southern Europe, Africa, and America, and each have a special
meaning and value to me.
Below this array of seemingly ancient things sits the large Sony
stereo system I received for my birthday this year. This hulk of machinery
adds contrast to the display above it as well as giving my room high-
quality sound. A turn to the left now unveils a bookshelf containing: all
of my hardback books, my alarm clock, my trophies and ribbons, and most of
my CD's and tapes. This storage space is really an unnecessary extra but
it does hel .....

Personal Writing: My Holiday
Words: 866 - Pages: 4.... We went to Pune by train and it took us about five hours to get there. I had not been feeling well and therefore, I was very restless during the train journey. Even then, I was very excited as it was my first train journey. I kept on looking out of the window and let out loud shrieks every time I saw a monkey in the trees. The scenery was beautiful as the train passed between two mountains. There were trees on either side and I kept on running from one side of the train to another to count the number of monkeys that I could spot during the train ride.
It was an exhausting journey. We got to the hotel, picked up the room keys from the recepti .....

Creative Writing: A Passage Of Time
Words: 1473 - Pages: 6.... the tab, placed the
tab in a recycling bag, took one small drink and returned to his waiting
seat in the bedroom. These rituals and set patterns were something that
had always given Bradley a structure in his life, they had always
maintained themselves as an unwavering constant. But most importantly, they
were carried out slowly, and in the current times of speed and fast results,
it was very reassuring to be able to take time to go through the routines
which had been a part of Bradley's life for at least fifteen years, now.
Bradley savoured his drink, choosing to drink it very slowly, as if in
an attempt to slow down time. Bradl .....

Creative Writing: The Competitors
Words: 503 - Pages: 2.... an hour left before game time, a few
players huddled together to say a quick prayer while others gathered around the
head coach for a final word of advice. One of the competitors listening to
this advice was Matt Williams or "The Destroyer", as he was known by the crowd.
He was a powerfully built young man who was in the possession of deep opaline
eyes, nightmarish black hair, and a ruddy complexion. Feared by all for his
ruthless behavior, Matt had joined the DFS league after being courtmarshaled by
the army for striking the commanding officer of his platoon. Why he was even
near the coach was a mystery to him because most of th .....

Personal Writing: All About Nothing: The Story Of My Life
Words: 1205 - Pages: 5.... these things, because they have not happened,
and thus, I am left topicless. I could try to fool you with some far out,
totally unbelievable story about how I was in a car wreck involving at least two
dozen cars, including the president's limousine, and how despite having broken
two legs, an arm, in addition to various other body parts too numerous to
mention, I managed to drag myself out of the wrecked car (A job for the Jaws of
Life, for sure, had it been any other person but me in that car), and then how I
managed to haul all of the other survivors, among them the president himself,
out of their cars, and to safety, only moments before a .....

Okonkwo's Exile
Words: 1272 - Pages: 5.... him instantly. Because of this,
Okonkwo had to spend seven years away from Umuofia. I felt tremendously
sorry for Ezeudu's now deceased son, but I felt even more sorry for Okonkwo,
who had killed him unintentionally. That night I went over to his compound
along with some other friend's, and we tried to calm him down, but it was
no use, I had never seen him this upset before. We then helped him pack his
yams, and stored them in my barn. I was to sell these yams while Okonkwo
served his exile. When we finished, he and his family left for Mbanta, his
motherland. As he was leaving, we waved good-bye, but he was too upset to

What is reality?
Well, there are many explanations and theories about this, but I based
mine on what I can observe and how I perceive things as a whole. Reality,
as we know it seems to be made up of various dimensions. Most people will
say reality is three dimensional .....
