Consumer Appeal
Words: 892 - Pages: 4.... is very detail oriented, in the
sense that the viewers need to pay close attention to what is going on to be
able to follow along with the mystery. It tends to "suck you in", so to say,
because it causes the viewers to become involved and engrossed in solving the
mystery.
The assumed target of this series is mainly adults over the age of
twenty-five, with the exceptions of those viewers that do not watch it at the
time it actually airs, but they tape it to watch later. Because of the time it
airs, the viewers are very select: children under the age of ten are presumably
in bed, junior and senior high schoolers are out, and anyone out .....

Abstract Expressionism
Words: 1561 - Pages: 6.... Kandinsky, in 1911,
began to paint densely layered composition of free-floating lines and areas
of color, with the intention to reveal his desire to instill visual form
with the properties of music. By 1915, Malevich had invented a new,
abstract visual set of paintings consisting of one or more colored
geometric shapes on a white field. He visualized a state of feeling, and a
sense of bliss and wonder. Mondrian took a different approach with tighter
geometric orientation and stricter compositional order. He was also
inspired by landscape but he interpreted it as a series of interlocking
vertical and horizontal lines.
It wo .....

Words: 511 - Pages: 2.... valour's minion
carved out his passage Till he faced the slave;_"
Macbeth defended his king's honor as well as his own, as Shakespeare showed
a good man never backed down from a foe. In the later acts of the play,
Shakespeare furthered the definition of a good man by portraying what a bad
one was not. In Macbeth's darkest hours, he showed no sign of prudence and
logic as he slayed king Duncan, and hired assassins to murder his friend
Banquo. Macbeth displayed his temerity in act IV scene 1 saying, "_from
this moment The very firstlings of my heart shall be The firstlings of my
hand. And even now, To crown my thoughts with acts, be it .....

are so fragile that the slightest vibration from a voice or a footstep could

The Play "Amadeus" Is Mainly Concerned With The Destructive Nature Of Jealousy
Words: 546 - Pages: 2.... the importance of pleasing members of the Viennese
court. He has no comprehension of the value of money, for when he successfully
earns any, he spends it on lavish food and clothes immediately, instead of
saving it. He spends all his time churning out music in final copy, which,
although beautiful, doesn't earn money as would teaching music.
Mozart is really the one who should be jealous, as he has little in the way of
money or assets, or even respect. All he has is his talent and his priceless
music, but not the sense he needs to capitalise on it.
It isn't the fact that someone has more talent than him, the problem is, as he
sees it, .....
