Mary must also feel black because she meant no harm by putting a needle inside of the poppet and yet she gets in trouble also. The black signifies Elizabeth's anger hate for Abby. (I, i, l60, 61). Benvolio draws his sword to beat down the weapons of the servants. This in turn causes more violence as Tybalt thinks Benvolio was involved in the fighting. The only fact that hinders this observation is the fact that others saw the ghost as well and were even the ones who told young Hamlet of his appearance. Many may see Hamlet being insane only by the worldly view of him being different. Though towards the end of the play in Act III, Gertrude calls her son to her chambers to discuss the reasoning of his putting on a play so closely related to the death of his father. .... of the sentence. This humor is obvious to everybody watching that Bottom had made a mistake. This type of humor, while obvious, sometimes doesn't portray the meaning correctly. Inferred humor is sometimes more suited for this. Shakespeare used something like inferred humor to get across some other meanings that added to the play. One good example is the character of Puck. Puck is a hyperactive child that gets into a lot of mischief. His attitude toward his tasks is sort of a light and airy one. He does not take life seriously, he only does what is fun. This type of character is totally different than everyone else in the .....

.... be it real or pretend, a person who is indecisive and spiteful. Masks in this play are not just a theme; they are the whole basis of it. The mask theme develops throughout the play as various characters try to cover their secret intentions with a veneer of a whole other person. One of the most obvious, of course is Claudius. Claudius murdered his brother, the former king Hamlet, in order to become king himself. This murder, which was done in secret, with no one but Cladius knowing that the act was committed by him.
